Did you see a butterfly lately? Get ready for a spiritual transformation...

Today I took a hike in Eaton canyon natural area. Just took a highway 101 to 134E Pasadena and I was there, only one hour drive from Topanga...with traffic

What a great place, who would think is close by to the City, but once you walk behind the gate you are surrounded by Nature.

I took a great hike, the one going all the way to a waterfall. The hike to Eaton Canyon Falls can be summed up this way: 1.1 miles of wide flat, relatively uneventful dirt trail, followed by 0.65 miles of single track up a narrow canyon that is adventurous and fun (forming a 3.5 mile round trip hike with 375 feet of elevation gain).

I took my time so I hiked for about 5 hours, but it was because I stop and

watch the water running in the stream, I stop and watched the butterflies flying, I stop and watch the children plying in the waterfall. It was great to see other people enjoying a beautiful day full of sun and smiling faces. Lesson learned today, really enjoy a moment, if you are doing something and you get interrupted by a phone call or anything else, keep doing what makes you happy, take time to really stay in the moment of happiness, it is a lasting moment, but we let circumstances to come in the way.

You know the moment when you are cuddling with the loveones and then the phone rings and you just get up because your cell phone is ringing, dont do that, dont do that to you or them. Stay in the moment of Love until you freely wanna go not because you feel you have too.

There is nothing better then feel loved dont let anyone take it away from you and make it your number 1 priority. I took that time while watching those butterflies, I just came when there were letting them free from the glass aquarium what a timing and then I watched them fly...Seeing butterflies out in the Nature is always lovely.

Butterflies have such a magical presence and quality as they gently dance on the air from flower to flower. They're so graceful and beautiful, it always lights me up and makes me shine a little brighter just by seeing them. This, plus their journey through life is so reflective of the spiritual path.

The cycle of the butterfly in and of itself holds spiritual teaching and insight for us. Birthed from an egg the butterfly lives it's early life as a caterpillar. It then retreats within the pupa or chrysalis where it undergoes a transformation, and finally when it leaves the chrysalis it is reborn as a beautiful winged butterfly.

The magnificent life of the butterfly closely mirrors the process of spiritual transformation as we each have the possibility to be reborn through going within. By retreating from the world into our inner being, surrounding ourselves in cocoons of prayer, meditation, spiritual books and courses, we're ready at some point emerge. Awakened and ready to fly, we're transformed and reborn into an entirely new way of being.
